Honda CB500X review

The Honda CB500X crossover model appeared in June 2013 and is sold to the present. The motorcycle is made in Thailand and is focused, first of all, on the Asian market. The model and the platform were taken as the basis of the Honda CBR500RHonda CBR500R and Honda CB500F motorcycles, changing only the appearance, suspension moves and fuel tank capacity. Otherwise, these three motorcycles are absolutely identical in technical terms. Model Honda CB500X outwardly has similar features with the Honda NC700 (NC 750), Honda NC700X.

Honda CB500X

Models built on the same platform with the Honda CB500X: Honda CBR500R – sports version. Honda CB500F – Naked version. The main feature of the Honda CB500X is a 2-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled engine, delivering around 48 hp. power and 43 Nm of torque. The motor is set for even thrust throughout the entire range of operation and gives maximum performance at 7000-8500 rpm.

Other features of the Honda CB500X include a steel frame, simple suspension in the form of a conventional telescopic fork at the front and a rear mono-shock absorber, a 1-disc 2-piston front brake, ABS as an option, a 6-speed gearbox and a 17.3 liter fuel tank.
